Terms and conditions of use

These terms govern the use of Kliwe, the property management platform of Kliwe LLC ("Kliwe"). By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Kliwe lets you record and manage your properties: data, documents, obligations, payments, expenses, maintenance and, if you rent them out, contracts, rent collection and tenants. The features available depend on your plan.
2. Your account
- You must be of legal age and provide truthful information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens with your account. We recommend turning on two-step verification.
- A workspace belongs to its owner. The owner decides who has access and with what permissions, and is responsible for the subscription.
3. Your content
The information and documents you upload are yours. You give us permission to store them, process them and show them to the people you authorize, only to provide the service. You state that you have the right to upload them and, when they include third-party data (tenants, co-signers, suppliers), that you have their authorization or a legal basis to process it.
4. Kliwe does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice
The calculators, alerts, contract templates, automatic reviews and artificial intelligence answers are support tools with general information. They do not replace advice from a lawyer, accountant or tax advisor. Always check amounts and documents before using them. Legal parameters (UVT, CPI, minimum wage, rates) are updated according to official sources, but they may change.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Kliwe for illegal activities, to upload content you have no right to share, to try to access data from other accounts, to affect the security or operation of the platform, or to send unsolicited communications.
6. Plans, payments and cancellation
- Prices for each plan are at kliwe.com/en/pricing. Subscriptions are charged in advance monthly or yearly and renew automatically.
- You can cancel whenever you want from the billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment fails we may limit the plan's features until it is settled. We never delete your data because of a failed payment without notifying you first.
- We may change prices by notifying you at least 30 days in advance.
7. Availability
We work to keep Kliwe available at all times, with automatic backups, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance or causes beyond our control.
8. Liability
Kliwe is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event that gives rise to it. We are not liable for decisions made based on the platform's information without verification by a professional.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Privacy and download your data first. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, notifying you except in serious cases.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia for users located in Colombia, without prejudice to any consumer protection rules that favor you.
