Frequently asked questions

No. For urban housing, the law prohibits requiring cash deposits. The usual guarantees are a guarantor (co-signer) and a rental insurance policy.

For housing, up to the previous year’s IPC (consumer price index), and only after 12 months. Kliwe calculates the adjustment with the IPC published by DANE and notifies the tenant.
